Here at Photo Booth Fun we see many things… we see many people laughing, many people planning the perfect pose, many people giggling as they retrieve their photo strip – all and all we see a lot of people having fun! Part of that fun is deciding on which prop to where – there are so many choices, which one sums up you? which one is good for the laughs? which one is just the cutest? and then there is the question that often follows the complex prop decision ….do we even prop?
Truth is our booths are fun however you approach them, sometimes its nice to hide behind a prop …sometimes it is fun to go all out and crazy with the props and sometimes it is cool to just be you!
One of our Taranaki Managers Jordan and Operator Tess will now demonstrate a few proping options….
First up we have ‘The Prop’ classically done …. Jordan even has 2 props (FYI you can never have too many props)…
Nest up we have’The Half Prop’ this is great if you are not truly ready to commit to the full prop seen above, just grab one thing and you are away laughing…
And finally we have ‘The No Prop’ … here there are no props in action but as you can see Tess and Jordan don’t need a prop when they can pull classic photo booth facials like these…
So there you have it! It really doesn’t matter if you prop it or don’t prop it – it’s all about having fun and with Photo Booth Fun at your event that is exactly what you will do!

Already the Wellington Photo Booth Fun schedule is filling up with corporate parties, annual awards dinners, staff get together’s, fundraisers/community events… and private parties where friends and families are just getting together to have fun!
Within these booking are a growing number of events where suppliers have booked a booth for client functions… a really cool and affordable way of saying “Thank You” in a manner that will be long remembered with a brand/logo on the custom photo strips!

This month we were luck to be part of the Weet-Bix All Blacks Trade Breakfast in Christchurch where some of our favourite All Blacks came along to meet some adoring kids, eat brekkie and chat with them. So cool to see so many happy fans and extra cool to have all their smiling faces come through the booth!

As the countdown to Christmas begins (101 sleeps to go for those that are counting!), we are gearing up for a busy festive season, here at Photo Booth Fun.
We are already jam packed with work Christmas party bookings, but do still have some dates free – so get in quick if you are wanting a photo booth at your party.
Aside from that, we have some really wonderful charity events coming up in Auckland.
On the 12th November we are going to be at the “Share the Dream” fundraiser, which is a major fundraising event hosted by Upside Downs who support young children with Down Syndrome. The very talented singer-songwriter Anika Moa will be performing and there will be food trucks, a DJ, a raffle for an iPhone and live and silent auctions. Tickets are $50, and will sell quickly, so if you would like to come along please email email@example.com.
And then on the 10th December we are very honoured to be part of the Special Children’s Christmas Party, being held at the ASB showgrounds. This is a massive event put on for sick, disabled and underprivileged children, and we are so excited to be involved. You can read all about it at http://www.scevents.co.nz/
Its definitely going to be a busy, but exciting, few months ahead. We are so excited about joining everyone this coming festive season, and helping to create memories to be treasured for many years to come!
The Waikato Children’s Literacy Charitable Trust is hosting a big gala fundraising charity dinner this Friday 26th August. Door entry is $5.00 per person, children up to the age of ten years is FREE. An adults dinner is $10.00 per person, Kids meals is $5.00 per person. Along with our photobooth for a gold coin donation, The Waikato Children’s Literacy Charitable Trust has arranged for country music star Molly G Paige as their guest artist. There will be more entertainment on the night, a charity auction, raffles and stalls. The proceeds go to develop a much needed online teaching website for literacy and numeracy for children aged 5 to 12 including special needs children , and children who really struggle on a daily basis.
The trust is also looking for volunteers to help set up the venue from 5pm on the night and clean up afterwards please. Please contact the trust via their contact details below.
Last year, Photo Booth Fun were very privileged to take part in a family fun day with the Upside Downs Education Trust – an organisation which was established to support young children with Down Syndrome. Last year they had a fantastically fun family day at Jump in Albany, and we provided a photo booth, which was a massive hit with everyone.
This year we have been invited back again – which we are very excited about! Here is what Hannah from Upside Downs has said …
“I just wanted to send you a message to say that our community really, deeply appreciates you helping us out in this way. I was able to send many of the families the image files you gave me last year and they were so delighted to have photos of their family all together. It really means a lot to have you help out, especially two years in a row”

You may remember seeing a post back in April when we found out we had been nominated for a Taranaki Wedding Industry Award – we were so excited to have been nominated! We were up against some AMAZING businesses who we love to work alongside at events…we would have been so happy for them to win, there really were so many deserving businesses.
The awards night rolled about and the Taranaki team headed out to the event (with the booth of course). Taranaki Weddings had put on a spectacular evening and the team were having a ball! The time came to read out the nominations and as the name “Photo Booth Fun” was read out and displayed on screen the team was so proud to have been included….there was a pause and then… “and the winner of the Entertainment category is…. PHOTO BOOTH FUN”

What a feeling it was to walk on stage and accept the award – so THANK YOU wonderful, beautiful, crazy and fun clients!

Last weekend the Hawkes Bay PBF team had the chance to spread some good cheer with a great bunch of kids and their families at the Special Children’s Extravangaza Party in Napier. Check out the Photo Booth Fun gallery here.
Heaps of local businesses supported the day – either with their services like us, or by contributing gifts to the present cave and there were heaps of volunteers helping out on the day too.
